I used to be a makeup artist and my favorite trick I learned was to wet an eyeliner brush and use a dark eyeshadow as my eyeliner. When it dries it stays put all day!

I use that water proof liquid line by Mac and I kid you not I can go swimming and it will stay on and look good as new. Only problem is that it is not easy to remove. If you like liquid it is the way to go.
Reply:definitely some kind of liquid liner, waterproof it you prefer. i used maybellines water proof one for a while, but it kinda flakes.
Reply:The best drugstore brand that I have tried is Revlon%26#039;s Colorstay Eyeliner. It is amazing! Stays on all day, comes in many different colors, and I think it is even waterproof.





The best cream-eyeliner from a department store is by Clinique. It is their new cream eyeliner that comes in a small pot with a small brush. It is waterproof and stays on FOREVER! I can put it on at 7am and it is still there after working all day and then going for a workout!





The best pencil eyeliner I have tried is DIOR Diorshow Eyeliner. Again, it comes in many colors and is waterproof. Stays on really well and has a smudger built in for the perfect smoky eye look.
Reply:Estee Lauder has come out with Doublewear Liquid Liner. Sets in 60 secs. and doesn%26#039;t rub off, yet can be removed with warm water.





If you are using a powder with wet brush as liner or pencil and need to waterproof it- use BENEFIT She Laq or Paula Dorff transformer.





If you like a smudgy look but need it to set and not run set with eyeshadow and angled eyeliner brush.
