What kind of foundation do you use?
I use Merle Norman tinted moisturizer as a foundation. I apply it with a sponge. I get great coverage plus long wear.
Reply:I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in Natural Beige 2.5. I moisturize beforehand and then just use my hands to put it on, finishing off with a dusting of loose powder to set it and make my skin glow better.
Reply:Never use Mac face makeup like concealer or foundation, etc. because it is STAGE MAKE-UP and oil based so it looks so fake and clogs pores. I love Benefit face make-up because all there stuff is oil free and even if you layer it a bunch, it will never look as fake as the other stuff. I use the playsticks and some kind of gorgeous.
Reply:I use (are you ready for this??) ...

Paula%26#039;s Choice moisturizer for oily skin

Smashbox Photo Finish Light Primer (the white, oil-free one)

MAC Studio Fix Fluid (NC15) or L%26#039;Oreal True Match (N1)

applied with a MAC 187 brush or a Coastal Scents duo fiber brush

Clinique Perfectly Real powder compact applied with the Coastal Scents large paddle brush.

I have rosacea so I really have to work at covering my skin to make it look natural. Using a 187 or the CS duo fiber brush makes my skin look very natural. Love those too brushes, the CS one is a lot cheaper, but it sheds more.
Reply:I use a natural glow face moisturizer by jergens and then a liquid foundation from covergirl. it%26#039;s called tru blend and i just use my fingers. then i use the trublend mineral powder.

it really does give you a natural glowing look and it has a shimmer in it that enhances natural glows and features.

:)
Reply:Use Oil of Olay serum as moisturer %26amp; eyecream - makeup is Maybelline - put on with sponge...
Reply:Go to a sephora beauty store. They have makeup/skin experts on hand to help. You will walk out of there with the right shade, applicator, etc.
Reply:I%26#039;m really not good with makeup and actually just started to try a year ago, but right now I have Loreal%26#039;s liquid foundation.

I tried Loreal%26#039;s power too, but I prefer the liquid though I%26#039;m not totally satisfied with it either coz my big eye bag still shows. I%26#039;m thinking about switching to minerals.

It%26#039;s just too confusing with so many beauty products out there %26gt;.%26lt;
Reply:i use mac studio finish for a big event or nightout since it%26#039;s heavier, you put it on with a sponge. its compressed powder

for everyday use, i use sheer cover because it%26#039;s a light powder i put it on with a big brush

no primer, just lotion before hand

MAC also makes a really good liquid concealer
Reply:first i cleanse, tone and moisturize

then i use MAC studio liquid fix foundation....i actually use my fingers.

ppl ask me all the time if i am wearing makeup b/c they can%26#039;t detect it. i also wear MAC mineralize powder and their concealer.
Reply:1. It%26#039;s more important in what type of foundation YOU are looking for based on need. My favorite is Estee Lauder Doublewear. It is a 15 hr. long last, transfer resistant, heat resistant, SWEAT resistant makeup.

2. Apply with a brush. You will get more even coverage and your foundation will last longer. In my opinion, your brushes are ALWAYS worth the investment. Take care of them and they will last forever. Sponges will absorb about 30% of the foundation BEFORE it gets to your face and acts like an %26quot;eraser%26quot; on the foundation.

3. Always moisturize! You may also use an oil free primer that is either photochromatic(photo friendly) or a color corrector- again, based on need.

4. Great coverage, natural look- Estee Lauder Doublewear Light, Clinique Superfit, Makeup Forever Matte Velvet
