I have blue-green eyes. What are some ways to use blue eyeliners and what eyeshadows look good with that?
Blue Eye Makeup Ideas?
Choose an eye shadow that complements your blue eyes. Shades in the brown, rose and violet families are best. The warm hue of these shades contrasts with the cold tone of your blues to really make them pop. Use a shade that is darker in tone than your eye color to make your baby blues shine.
Select a brown shade of eyeliner. The harshness of traditional, black liner will take away from the natural beauty of blue eyes. Choose a dark or medium brown liner to highlight blue tones.
Use brown or brown/black mascara. Any mascara will naturally open and brighten your eyes. However, a natural, brownish shade will do it without drawing attention away from the blue color of your eyes.
Apply a light or neutral tone blush and lip color. Keeping the rest of your makeup minimal will naturally draw attention to your eyes.

I would use eyeliner on your lid, not along the bottom, seeing as how on top it makes your eyes look much bigger. And with blue/green eyes, browns, purples, whites and pale pinks look the best.

Well the good thing is you dont need much makeup. Your a natural beauty. A friend and I wrote on a friends car with lipstick and I didn%26#039;t think about whether it would comeoff or not. Now I%26#039;m kinda worried and I haven%26#039;t talked to her about it yet. It was white too.

Chanel for facial powder and their lipsticks and nailpolish, perfume. Christian Dior for facial shimmer perfume. I haven%26#039;t really tried MAC, I feel so claustrophobic in their little store maybe I will buy some online. Clinique is a good place to go buy facial moisturizer, cleanser, and toner. The only cheap stuff I will buy is lip liner/lip gloss Sephora has a line that is pretty good.

For concealer, I like the Body Shop lightening touch- kinda like YSL Touch Eclat, but cheaper! Maybelline mascaras are the best, and for eyeliner I have a mix of rimmel, covergirl (eyebrow pencil), loreal and this great lancome one which is a fantastic blue colour. For powder, I really like Maybelline pure power, I use dove tinted moisturiser in the day. I get covergirl, maybelline, rimmel and loreal from kmart or target, Body Shop from...the Body shop, and lancome from myer or david jones. I like rimmel bronzer and blush too, and lipsticks I use revlon, covergirl, rimmel, napoleon, whatever I can find good colours in! The only lipgloss I wear are natio and lancome juicy tubes, which I like to buy from myer. I%26#039;ve never had my own juicy tube, but I%26#039;m desparate for one! Also, revlon illuminator is nice.
So, in a brief summary, I buy pricier face makeup and only sometimes splurge on lips and eyes. I don%26#039;t really think that price is any indication of quality, coz I have a friend who can only wear cheap foundation because the oils in her skin and the pH fully reacts with the expensive makeup, she has even been to all the fancy counters and they told her that she should stick to the cheaper stuff if that%26#039;s what works. For me, I like a bit of balance!

Be super gentle when you wash your face and skip the toner (the use of cotton balls, even with the most gentle toner, rubbing all over your face will hurt, too). Just give it a rest for a couple of days and AVOID the sun for now. If you have to go out, even if it%26#039;s for just a few minutes, wear a wide brim hat (at least a 4%26quot; brim). In the future, once your skin heals, ALWAYS apply a high SPF sunblock whenever you go out, because the ozone layer has soooo many holes now. Try Neutrogena%26#039;s Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 85 Helioplex, available at Walmart for $10 ($9.98 to be exact). Let it absorb into the skin for at least 15 minutes before you go out.

How can you make the MAC Pigments look not too shimmery?
I heard you can make the MAC pigments look not too shimmery by adding water or mixing medium (whatever that is) and some other stuff I can%26#039;t remember. Does anyone know if this works? Has anyone tried it b4? I%26#039;m thinking of using Frost Pigment in the near future and then I searched up reviews saying it was too frosty and too shimmery and I really like the color, it just that I want to get rid of the glitter.

the mac pigments arent really glitter. its actually more like shimmer, and im not so sure about putting water, but i guess that could work to make it less concentrated. your best bet though is to use the littlest possible so its not as glittery or shimmery. if you still think its too glittery or whatever, probably a matte shadow or something would work better.

the mac pigments arent really glitter. its actually more like shimmer, and im not so sure about putting water, but i guess that could work to make it less concentrated. your best bet though is to use the littlest possible so its not as glittery or shimmery. if you still think its too glittery or whatever, probably a matte shadow or something would work better.

Ok i am just wondering or i gess just geting a second idea here if i wear to much makeup. I am 12 old most 13. I wear eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara, blush,bronzer, and lip gloss. I get my eye makeup looking like avril lavigne alot, most of the time. So it is really dark and smokey. My mom jokes around with me on how much makeup i use. but yeah but one time at my school they made me wash off my dark eye makeup!!! it was retared!! soo yeah i just want to no what u people think

people say to put a clean mascara brush, dip it in olive oil, and swipe it on your eyelashes before you go to bed. but i were CRT lenses/contacts. (CRT contacts are contacts were you sleep with them at night, and when you take them off in the morning, you can see cleary) so i%26#039;m afraid that the oil will some how get in my eyes with my contacts on.. what do i do? and i have to wear my contacts.

And it will eventually seap through into your contacts as well, making it blurry and uncomfortable to wear. That%26#039;s my personal experience, so don%26#039;t do it.
You can achieve the longer, thicker lash look by first applying a lengthening mascara and then a volumizing mascara (Maybelline%26#039;s XXL mascara uses a similar concept).

I also read that they are working on a new drug to promote eyelash growth. The point is... just because it doesn%26#039;t cost a small fortune doesn%26#039;t mean it%26#039;s not just as good.

You just sit in front of the mirror and learn, the first thing you do it start with a clean face- put lotion on don%26#039;t forget to dab under the eyes! then try the eyeliner, not black it is too harsh- try brownish black or depending on your skin type or hair color- see what is best for you- then the eyeshadow- go natural, brown, gold then then eyelash curler- squeeze your lash about 3 times to really curl them- then apply mascara- not too much or it will flake- don%26#039;t forget the bottom lashes- then the face- use a little foundation if you need it or better yet a colored lotion- then concealer little bit of powder to keep it in place (powder also keeps the air pollutants out of your skin too) then blush--- wallah !!! you are done- you can also go to you tube.com and write in makeup- they have videos that can help you! and remember all guys like natural looking girls- so don%26#039;t overdue the makeup- you want to look naturally pretty not a clown face!! GOOD LUCK!!

Prescriptives. you can%26#039;t get it at Sephora, but it is the best liquid foundation. It can be found at Nordstrom and Bloomingdales and is good if you want a natural looking makeup. It leaves skin looking fresh and natural without feeling overly made up. Oil-Free. SPF 15. Because of this it is great for acne prone skin. It says it is not good for overly dry skin, but I never thought that was a problem since the only way that it won%26#039;t be for you is if your skin is like sandpaper. Its also an Allure Best of Beauty Award winner. Its one of the best foundations out there. If you want a nonliquid foundation, Armani has a good one. Chanel also has really good foundation as well. Get it at nordstrom or bloomingdales:

I like Stile Natural Finish because it%26#039;s a medium coverage that you can build and it%26#039;s oil-free.
Also try DiorSkin Air Flash foundation. I used it for prom when I got my makeup done there. Have them apply it for you to see if you like it. May not be good for acne skin though, but definitely good for dry skin!

I add a dab of moisterizer to make it leave my face softer, even though it already makes it softer.
I also have weird discoloration, but this makes evens out my skin tone too!
PLUS - It%26#039;s oil free, and dries smooth and silky. If you need more, just add more. Still though, little goes a long way.

It covers up dark undereye circles %26amp; acne scars, I know. Really, I just use one layer of that, just over what I want to conceal, then cover my whole face with Bare Minerals powder foundations. People always tell me how much better my skin looks since I%26#039;ve been using them both!!!
The Coverblend seems kinda expensive at $18 for a small tube, but I%26#039;ve been using it for 6 months and it%26#039;s not even half gone yet. The only problem is now that I%26#039;ve been out in the sun a bit, I have to get the next darker one.

You should definately wear a primer underneath. Smashbox, and Napolean Perdis are two that I think are great. They smooth the skin and you can also get some that colour correct if you find that you have redness or a sallow tone to the skin.
Tinted moisturisers: Laura Mercier, Clinique and Dior are all great. These three last, have a great colour and nice coverage. You don%26#039;t want your makeup to look too heavy so a very light dusting of translucent powder is ok if you tend to shine, but it is not necessary.

I use a very light amount around the blemish and grey areas near my eyes. then after that, I just use cover girl liquid foundation and blend it all together and it works just fine. on days when I feel like being really fancy I top it all off by blending with bare essentials mineral veil, but you actually don%26#039;t have to buy bare minerals for a transluscent veil, you can get tru blend from cover girl, and it%26#039;s also available from mary kate and ashley, much much cheaper and works just the same. The result of all those foundations together looks awesome and I often get compliments.

As far as colored mascara, why don%26#039;t you put on a primer before putting on the mascara? That makes it last longer.

Make sure it%26#039;s waterproof - you can buy it at Sephora. I have it in purple and green.
(I personally vouch for this one - I used to box for hours after school and it only came off with a makeup remover. I know how irritating it is to come out of the gym looking like a raccoon LOL.)
As far as colored mascara, why don%26#039;t you put on a primer before putting on the mascara? That makes it last longer.
Reply:max factor has a new double ended mascara. one side is black mascara and the other side is colored (pink, blue, yellow, etc.) and you can apply that over the black to create colorful lashes.

ok so I was wondering how I can make the color of my eyes change over and over again in a picture...can someone plz tell me how to do this??

YOU CAN USE CONTACTS TO CHANGE COLOR, BUT MOST OF THE PHOTO SHOPS HELP YOU DO THIS.
Reply:If you have photoshop, use the elliptical marquee tool (where you have the rectangular marquee tool) and box both your pupils. Then go to %26quot;Enhance%26quot; and select color. Make sure your pupils are still boxed. When you open up %26quot;color%26quot;, change the hue/saturation/darkness, and there you have it!
Reply:you use the same picture and in each one make your eyes a different color they you put the pictures all together make them continuously switch and only your eyes will appear like they are changing.

use the selection tool
only select your eyes
next to file, edit, tools, etc, at the top left, click on IMAGE
click on hue/satuaration
move the arrow on the colors left to right and watch the eye color change.
